That crash totally represented Bobby Allison’s crash at Talladega in 1987,
and Carl Edwards flipping into the fence at Dega about 4 years ago. Put
those 2 crashes in a blender and this is what you get!!! Serious crash!!!

i can’t believe this! I was shocked! I saw another video (which was blocked
due to copyright -.-) and in that video, the tire did indeed end up in the
stands, right next to the person who filmed it too

    No….. Just no

Shouldn’t the catch fence be able to withstand that?

This crash is stunning. its awful in every way. I do feel the fence did its
job though mostly, and it appears the angle of the crash is what the worst
part is. it just ripped the entire nose off the car and parts went flying
over the fence, rendering it useless. other than that, the car itself
stayed in the racing area, and the parts that were lodged in the fence were
just that. Stuck by the wall area. either way, one of the nastiest NASCAR
crashes in the last 15 years, and maybe history.

Well it kinda did. The entire car could have gone into the stands and
injured many more people. Plus the modern racecars are not as likely to go
airborne. This was just a very bad freak accident.
